Invitation To Our 19th Annual Leo Club Installation

With reference to the above matter, we, the Leo Club of SMK Damansara Jaya from Region 8, Zone 19, would like to extend our warmest invitation to you and the members of your club to attend the event mentioned above.

2. These are the details of the event that is about to take place:

      Theme  : Leap Of Faith

      Date  : 19th July 2008 (Saturday)

      Venue  : SMK Damansara Jaya’s school hall

      Time  : 1.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m.

      Attire  : Leo Members  – Strictly Club Uniform

                  : Non-Leo Members  – School Uniform / Formal wear

      Entrance fee : RM8.00

3. The purpose of this project is to officially install the new members of our club as well as to induct the newly elected Board of Directors for the fiscal year of 2008/2009. This event is also meant to instill unity and togetherness amongst fellow Leos.

Fellowship Dinner

Theme: Starlight Night

Description: 

Starlight Night is the theme for fellowship dinner. Imagine it a
night where you can see stars and moon with dark clouds. You will be able to
see stars shining like our Leo Idol Competition Finalists, Dina from Malaysia Idol and
Digi CelebriTeen artists.

The colors involved in Starlight night are blue, white, gold,
silver, grey, black and something that is metallic or shiny. Something that
makes people goes Blink, Blink, Blink when they see you.

The registration fee for Leo is RM 180 per person (before 31st March 2008, thereafter RM200.00), including either
2-nights hotel accommodation based on 4
sharing, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2
dinners, a Forum Kit & Insurance.

Hi Leos, “Empower to Change”  District 308 B2 Youth Camp 2007 has confirmed will be held on 7th to 9th   December 2007 at Sungai Pauh Forestry Department, Cameron Highlands , Perak.
            
The registration fee for of RM 75.00 per person before 15th November
2007 includes 2-nights accommodation based on shared tents of 4(four),
2(two) breakfasts, 3(three) lunches, 2(two) dinners & Insurance
coverage during the camp.
            
          The objectives of this camp are:

• To create and foster       a spirit of understanding amongst Leos in the district
• To instill in Leo       members the safety and appreciation of the environment
• To provide       activities promoting teamwork, discipline, tolerance, independence and       self-endurance
• To encourage sharing       of ideas throughout the district
• To       develop leadership potential among Leos

Activities such as Jungle Trekking , Treasure Hunt , Camp Fire ,
Cooking Competition ,Team-building, and fellowship will be further
value-added with other camping skills sessions like the pitching of
tents, selecting campsites, starting a fire and cooking skills.
Besides, we have oversea YE joining us too.
